What types of payment are accepted at the VBC?

As of February 7, 2023, the VBC is a cashless facility accepting card and mobile payments only. No cash accepted at parking, concessions or bars.

All major card and mobile payments are accepted including: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

NOTE: If you do not have a card or mobile form of payment, you can purchase a pre-loaded card at the VBC Box Office with cash for a limited time.
What are the VBC Box Office hours?

What time will the doors open for an event?

Mars Music Hall: 1 hour prior to show time (unless it is a sold out show, then it will open 1.5 hours prior)

Mark C. Smith Concert Hall: 1 hour prior to show time

Does the VBC have a Lost & Found?

Yes. The Lost & Found is located in the VBC Security Office, located beside the VBC Box Office.

Does my young child need a ticket?
-
Age requirements are typically listed with the ticket information on the VBC website or Ticketmaster website. However, most events do not require a ticket for children under the age of two. If you would like the child to have his/her own seat, you must purchase a ticket for that child. Some children/family shows children require that all children over the age of one have a ticket.
What happens if an event is cancelled or postponed?

If an event is cancelled, please return to the point of purchase for a refund. If an event is postponed, tickets for the original event date will be honored. If you are unable to attend the event on the new date please return to the point of purchase for a refund.
Will a show be canceled due to bad weather?
- All shows at the VBC are “Rain or Shine” events. VBC officials work directly with the National Weather Service and Huntsville Emergency Management to monitor and adapt to ever-changing weather conditions. Event organizers/promoters may make exceptions for refunds due to weather conditions. For questions about an event cancellation or refunds due to weather, please call 256-533-1953.
What is the policy on accessible seating?

The VBC follows regulations set forth by the ADA. Under ADA policy, three companion seats may be purchased when buying an accessible seat. Due to limited availability of accessible seating, purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Accessible seating may be purchased in-person at the VBC Box Office or online at www.ticketmaster.com. For additional information, please visit the VBC or call the administration office at 256-533-1953.
How do I pick-up my tickets when they are to be left at will call?

Tickets will be available to pick up at the designated box office 2 hours prior to show time. Please bring proper ID, the credit card used to purchase the tickets and your confirmation number if ordered through Ticketmaster.

*NOTE - Tickets for Mars Music Hall shows will only be available at the Mars Box Office within two hours prior to show time; otherwise, they will be at the VBC Box Office.
Can I bring food or beverages into the VBC?

No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the facility. The VBC offers food and beverages options available for purchase within each venue.
Are there any military/group/student discounts available?

Discounts vary by show. Please view the ticket price information on our website or call the administration office at 256-533-1953 for more information. Tickets may be purchased in person at the VBC Box Office or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
Can I purchase tickets at the VBC Box Office for events at other venues?

No. While the VBC Box Office works off of the Ticketmaster system, they do not have the ability to sell tickets for events taking place at other venues.

To purchase tickets by phone please call Ticketmaster directly at 1-800-745-3000. To purchase tickets online visit Ticketmaster.com. You may also purchase tickets in-person by visiting the VBC Box Office.
